The traditional Sri Lankan Wedding is performed on a decorated canopied dais (Poruwa). The bride and bridegroom are dressed in ceremonial Sri Lankan costumes. Jayamangala stanzas of blessings are sung by young girls. Dancers to the beating of drums make the ceremony colorful.
