A traditional Sri Lankan wedding, in brief:

The traditional Sri Lankan wedding is performed on a decorated and canopied dais, referred to as a ‘Poruwa’.  The couple will be dressed in ceremonial costumes while  ‘Jayamangala’  stanzas of blessings are sung by young girls.  Dancers and drummers add a magical touch to the proceedings and make the ceremony colourful and one that you will always cherish.
