Wedding Package
The traditional Sri Lankan Wedding is performed on a decorated, canopied dais (Poruwa), with the bride and groom dressed in ceremonial Sri Lankan costumes. “Jayamangala” or stanzas of blessings are sung by young girls and dancers cavort to the beating of drums make the ceremony exotically colourful.

The couple also has the option of purchasing or tailoring costumes locally and the price will vary based on style and materials used. The required documents to be married in Sri Lanka are given below and each person must provide a duplicate copy of each of the following. These copies should be forwarded to the hotel two weeks prior to the date of marriage.
Birth certificate
Passports – copies are only required of the information pages, do not include the pages containing immigration and visa stamps
A letter stating your full name, postal address and occupation
A letter stating the full names, addresses and occupations of your parents
An affidavit confirming your status
The following documents are required only if they apply to you.
If divorced – decree absolute(s)
Legal proof of any name changes by Deed Poll
If widowed a) Death certificate(s) of former spouse(s). b) Previous marriage certificate(s)
If adopted – legal forms
If any document provided is not in English, then a legally recognized translator must provide a translation.
You must travel to Sri Lanka with all the original documentation for your wedding at the hotel five days prior to the wedding.
